Don't think you hate the poor but it's not a french fry sandwich...very different taste & texture, plus there's butter & salt n vinegar. More akin to the way you can eat great French bread with just a smear of butter, or dip chunks of crusty bread in a decent olive oil, & it be supremely satisfying
