Alyx, who has served in the Air Force for 15 years, said the ban and having her retirement rescinded has put her in a precarious financial situation.

Master Sergeant Logan Ireland, 15 years in, had an approved early retirement date for December & already began out-processing, even though he had rather remained in the military.
Now, the Trump administration took even that back.

I always think of an interview I did with @imarajones.bsky.social after a mass shooter in the U.S. was alleged to be trans (w/ no evidence), and she pointed out how the media will completely abandon basic journalistic standards when it comes to reporting on trans people.
