This is going to end up a political arms race which frankly I see no real solution to.

Economist. History nut. Politophile. I am a neurodivergent who loves to info dump history.
Fight on my men, I am hurt, but I am not slain; I'll lay me down and bleed a-while, And then I'll rise and fight again.

I said a while back for people to grab a notepad and start typing out all the shit that went on during the Trump admin during the Signal gate scandal, because there would be more crazy shit that went on that we would just forget about Signal gate.
I hate being right about that one.

Not a problem. I have a pretty decent collection, if I think of any others or come across any others I'll be happy to recommend it.

Trump should tread carefully on his war against "Green Tech." Pulling back 7b in solar subsidies hurts Texas, Florida, Arizona, and NC more than almost any other states, Minus California. This is what happens when you have an economically illiterate President.

I also thought this book was really good. It is a recent history book since 2008, but really good.

I would say that the book I am reading now is good. It doesn't cover the last 400 years, but it is a fascinating and illuminating read that does cover the last 200.

Oh no doubt that these recent actions are a STFU. What I was referring to more was their initial reaction to his BS in 2022. Before Trump got involved. They didn't hesitate and let him back into the political arena like we did with Trump. They arrested his ass pretty fast and went for prosecution.

I think Brazils reaction vs Americas reaction is a result of our two histories. Americans have lived very long in a fairly stable "democracy" while Brazil had a military dictatorship when I was born in 83. They are very much aware of their history unlike us. We could learn a lot from them.

Is this a cartoon or a part of a larger article? I was hoping for a link if so.

Not sure, but one political rule in America that hits about 9 times out of 10 is that Americans vote by what is in their pocket. Nixon for all his faults was a genius at figuring out regular people. This is why our political scene has been so unstable. Increasing inequality tearing at it.
