The immediate question is not to discuss the legalities but seek out what is being done in reality to correct this situation. Discussions among Democrats are becoming more and more useless to listen to. They argue over the moral high ground while Republican DO THINGS, DO THINGS, DO THINGS.

I'm one of them on my senior fixed income or I'd be living in Portugal or Denmark right now. So many friends can quote TikTok cute videos or funny ones but are oblivious to what is going on politically. Social media awareness takes precedence over inquiry or thinking today. So very sad.

I didn't realize that. Tks for info. What can I search on to see what it was like? What an abomination that someone not even in office can control Congress like that.......this country has sunk farther than anyone anticipated. Our glory days are gone it seems. :(
