it’s already being accomplished by chgs to student loans & pell grants, schs in red states being intimidated into reducing scholarships to minorities unless they’re great at sports, state universities which admit a top % of each public HS now saying those grads will be ranked for possible admission

few wks ago KABC had a toy mgfr on to explain tariffs, said when his merch arrives at the port he’s required to pay the tariff to the CBP, if he doesn’t the merch is returned to the originating nation said he works on a 10% profit factor so tariffs get passed on to his retailers or direct customers

totally flies in the face of their trump loving ad, bragging 80% of their vehicles are assembled in the US, no tariffs and this oldie ‘we didn’t take bailout money’… decades ago car factories were surrounded by facilities which manufactured the parts, carmakers bought them out & moved them overseas
