  1. I'm excited that my next article, "The Administrative Law of McCarthyism," will be published in the Stanford Law Review. It explores how civil service law evolved in response to McCarthy era loyalty purges, and how courts drew on administrative law principles to fashion civil service protections.

  4. We have to find a method for law office history; adding this to the bibliography of the method of law office method.

    Jonathan's book is an Xray into the methodological quackery of some present day originalism. There's lots of hidden moves/assumptions that he exposes while explaining how one could do more honest originalism, if one actually wanted to. An excellent read that originalists will have to reckon with.
