I am currently half way through reading "A Boy with Two Hearts" by Hamed Amiri.
I know people don't make the treacherous journey here to seek asylum for fun - but reading a first hand account really brings it home.

We have just the most basic microwave for this reason. Unfortunately, when we replaced the last one we went too basic - lesson learned for that too (no display to show exactly how many seconds / minutes). One day we will get it right.
