This isnt quite the same but the high cost of food and the rise of MAHA has lead to renegade canners and I'm worried about an uptick in food borne illnesses. I just watched a video of a woman freezing Mac and cheese (safe) and a commenter responded that she canned Mac n cheese. /1

  1. God just freeze it. Freezing works a long time. Vacuum freezing even longer. If you can afford a chest freezer you can stock up a LOT of prepared food.

    My wife likes to can stuff and we do not mess with canning meat. Not worth it.

  3. When the creator responded that in her family she doesn't can dairy the commenter asked if she had a real reason or if it was just because of the letter agencies.

    People are recording themselves water canning things that should be pressure canned or cant be safely canned at home.
