Once again, Trump ignores the Republican states with the highest homicide rates, and instead targets blue states, blue cities, and Black leaders. Trump hasn’t threatened to bring his authoritarian spectacle to any red states. If this was truly about crime, he’d start there.

Effective Friday, postal services in Germany, Denmark, Sweden, and Italy announced an immediate suspension of package shipments to the U.S. due to confusion over new import duties. France and Austria will implement similar measures on Monday.

This is a bucket list thing for me—having an orchid mantis, or at least hanging out with one for extended periods of time. 😂. But I would fear for its safety, so I’ll just enjoy Taddius from afar. What a beautiful fellow, he looks like a wee dragon and an orchid at the same time.
Taddius is the first of my orchid mantises to reach adulthood. He is a very handsome lad, and I am incredibly proud of him.
