Precisely. I think it's extremely normal to be feeling like this at the moment π I don't want to ignore what's going on.

Going outside brought me joy! ππ

I haven't dated for over 10 years though I can imagine because I'm seeing this with everyone, including myself. The pandemic really did a number on us...but, for some of us, it also showed us how peaceful life can be...

Long story short, I am mostly just playing games and reading books at home. And cuddling dog β€οΈ

I'm always up for unplugging and touching grass, especially on weekends, but it's tough to get away from the constant bad news, always being the topic of conversation. Most weekends I'm seeing fights break out... Last week was a man refusing to leave a woman alone. Outside isn't an option anymore βΉοΈ

Thanks, Andy! Usually I'm quite a hopeful person but just not feeling it right now >_< I'm sure it'll pass.

I think I've felt this way since 2016, but things weren't so bad, you could still find enjoyment. Now, I can't even escape into art without thinking "Is this AI generated?"
If "yes" -- That sucks on so many levels If "no" --> Well, it will be soon...
(But my despair rn isn't just about AI art)

Seems like, wherever you look, things are going to shit. π Is anyone else feeling utter hopelessness right now?

More and more people reporting today that Stripe - the payment processor that Itch said were putting the most pressure on them - now have staff actively confirming that yes, they are censoring LGBT content, adult or otherwise. That this is official company policy.
This seems kinda significant.
