I think about the first lie from the Trump WH about the crowd size. At the time, I wondered what do we do if they lie from the WH podium? How innocent.

Trump has always cherry-picked data. But now he's poised to use the power of the federal government to grow his own cherries. www.pbump.net/o/donald-tru...
Donald Trump, ‘numbers’ guy
The day Donald Trump announced his 2016 presidential candidacy at Trump Tower, I was tasked with evaluating the factual claims he made in his speech. I did so … for the first couple of inaccurate clai...

JD Vance on Disneyland being shut down for his family vacation:
“We had the island to ourselves which was very cool. I had never been to Disneyland. I thought it was awesome. …sorry to all the people that are Disneyland for the longer lines, but we had a very good time.”

And just like that, we are back in 2016 with Michael Cohen lying about Trump Tower Moscow negotiations that in reality were ongoing practically until Trump accepted the nomination: Michael Cohen Lied About Trump Moscow Real Estate Talks, Court Documents Show www.npr.org/2018/11/29/6...
Michael Cohen Admits Trump Tower-Moscow Talks Continued Well Into 2016 Campaign
President Trump's longtime fixer pleaded guilty on Thursday to lying to Congress about the real estate negotiations that Trump's business conducted with Russians in 2016.

What Trump is doing in DC isn't about “law and order.” If he cared about that, he wouldn’t have gutted DC’s ability to fund its own police force.
This is about Trump playing king at the expense of DC's 700K residents. The American people must stand against this abuse of power.

Read this.
"Hurling dildos at WNBA players had a very particular message: You may think you are elite athletes, but to us you are still here to be mocked & sexualized & demeaned. And when Don Jr. posted that image to his 9.7 million followers, he was saying That’s what I think of you too, and so does my dad"
Trump isn't the solution to the "crisis of manhood," he's the problem
The misogyny comes fast and furious. Anything real to make men's lives better? Not so much.

If you don't follow Aaron Parnas on Substack, I highly recommend doing so. There are never any pay walls and you get real news without the spin. This one is about what is happening DC, but also about how important it is not to lose sight of the Epstein story.
We are at an Inflection Point
A strong media to expose the truth is more important than ever before

An underappreciated element of Trump’s redecoration of the Oval Office is how gradual it’s been. It’s like the rest of his presidency: testing limits, ignoring precedent and feeling free to go further and further. www.pbump.net/o/first-the-...
First, the White House. Then, the country.
Let us consider the ongoing overhaul of the White House as a metaphor. A few months ago, back when I was at The Washington Post, I compiled a series of photos to show how the Oval Office had been slow...
