  1. Kind of situational. I tend to enjoy it IF there are no changes to the victim's actual personality. Still being their original self, while also being barely able to process words, thoughts, etc can be VERY interesting to see play out!

  2. Only a little? Having some changes to mental capabilities I am fine with but I love to have the characters be pretty close to understanding who they were before the tf.

  3. Primal need or instincts overriding intelligence and reason is fantastic! Straight up becoming stupider isn't my thing, but intelligence loss and its associated kinks do nothing for me in general.

  4. For me it is generally a no, my biggest draw to TF is that the subject is still themselves, they are just dealing with the new body and the quirks that come with that. The only times it does anything for me is when its subtle and part of new ticks that come with the new form

  5. Depends on situation. Sometimes, it can be freeing to keep things more simple, or writing out the struggle of the character attempting what was once normal. A good middle ground I think is instincts/compulsion. Still the same intelligence, but now the urge to talk in the 3rd person as an example

  6. Nay, I am really afraid of identity death, my mind feels like the one thing that should never change. Plus I'm too dumb as is, there's no room to fall. Seeing tf-ees go through it just makes me sad.

  7. I am generally not a fan of anything beyond very slight mental changes. Especially when they "lose intelligence" they always seen like a different character after and that is not what I am looking for.

I like seeing the reaction of the tfee and any mental change usually hinders that.

  8. i strongly argue that its not a binary, and it wholly depends on context, species, transformee, if there's a narrative attached and what that narrative is, and other aspects

  9. In a one off thing to be kinky yes, in an actual story where I'm interested in the exploration of TF it probably makes me drop the story.

This distinction is there for many odd bits of TF stuff where I have this big disconnect between stuff I'm kinky for and stuff I can handle in a story.

  10. Depends, I always kinda consider intelligence loss to mix together with like, compulsions, instincts, that type of stuff. That? That I find fun. When it's just a character getting dumber? Eh, it's again, heavily dependent on how it's done.

  11. Nay, I think it's more embarrassing if they keep their intelligence

But if it's permanent then yay, I don't care much for like, mental torture

  12. I'm in the 'it depends' camp. There ARE certain circumstances where I find it really appealing. I'll cop to liking bimbofication. It's probably going to sound weird, but... sometimes I just want an excuse to turn my anxieties off, and being brain-drained can be kind of... liberating, in a way.
