Rey's character change between The Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker. She goes from a nobody who's a hero because of her choices, to the Emperor's secret granddaughter whose entire life revolves around her ancestry.
This is why they should have impeached and removed him that day, after the insurrectionists went home and session reconvened.
In theory a joint session could do it in under an hour. Do it before the fear fades and you convince yourselves that was something other than what it was.
