I like things such as video games and music. I will post about those things. It will be fun.
I write about games here:
My son has gotten really into time trials on old Mario Kart games so I've been playing 64 and the SNES game.
Most of it is definitely nostalgia, but one thing I really miss about the old games is how uncluttered the courses are. There doesn't need to be something in the background at every spot.
Looking forward to seeing your thoughts on this. I, too, have never played a Yakuza game and many people here have recommended 0 as a great starting point.

That's a big comparison. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing everything else this game has. It's undeniably fun and the core gameplay is perfectly simple and addicting.
I hope I end up in a spot when I think it belongs next to Odyssey.
I'm probably somewhere in the middle. I definitely don't just rush through and only hit the main story points, but I also am certainly not getting near 100% of the bananas.
I do like the side content, the challenge areas are some of the most fun in the game.
I've gotten 154 bananas in DK Bananza. I just finished a lengthy boss fight and made it to the resort sublayer.
So far, this is a B+ game for me. The core mechanic is super fun but it hasn't iterated on it a whole lot. The Bananza powers are fun, but a bit underutilized.
Excited to see the rest.
