no, i 100% agree. this shouldn’t ruin anyone’s day because it was clear what we would get and it’s our own fault for thinking it might be something bigger. but i really miss those fun album rollouts with puzzles and i especially miss when countdowns and bars like this still meant something lmao

this! i was actually expecting nothing more than a spotify countdown clip BUT i would have loved for it to at least be something exciting like a tiny peak behind the curtain or something 😭 and YES OMG the puzzles we had for 1989 tv for example were SO much fun!! i would love something like that

in the end, two things can be true. taylor can do her rollout however the fuck she wants and people are allowed to not love it. bc let’s be real: she could announce an album, disappear for three years before surprise dropping an experimental rap lp on christmas eve and we’d still all be sat for it.

absolutely! i actually said that in the gc yesterday, that this was definitely just a spotify clip but it could have been more. you never know with her and especially with this big of a deal they made out of it, clowning was definitely reasonable. i’m not a fan of this rollout so far, either tbh
