i'm generally skeptical of Big Three crossovers- hamburger hotdog stinks, and hamburger pizza is mid at best- but Pizza Hotdog actually shows a lot of promise. this space needs more research and development

The pizza shop i worked in in college did a decent pizza burger. The trick was letting the pizza cool enough to keep the cheese stuck to the dough.
Weed might have helped, too.
P.S. A pizza Americana in Kotor, Montenegro, is just a cheese pizza with hot dog slices.

the thing about this is that i actively went looking for it when my partner and i attended a match at city ground and COULD NOT FIND IT. maybe they only have it in one stand, or in some VIP section? we weren't early enough to do a full circumnavigation. i wanted to scoff the pizza dog!!

Cured sausage on pizza is known to be good, so the questions are whether frankfurter is a better pairing for tomato/mozz than pepperoni or italian sausage, and whether keeping the sausage whole is better than having many small pieces. I don't think I'm taking Pizza Hotdog's side on those questions.

If you want to get sicko with it, there is a Cincinnati delicacy called a Skyrosa. You wrap a skyline cheese coney with a piece of Larosas pizza. These restaurants are not together so you have to do it somewhere like a Reds game or Kings island with quick access to both
