Yes. Post 9/11 was Arabs=the bad guys, non-Arab=the good guys. Almost nothing I hate more than oversimplification. It’s intellectually lazy.

Yes! I’m reminded of the Mark Twain quote “A lie will travel half way around the world while the truth is still getting its pants on “. Israel has maintained a transactional relationship with the US for decades. They say what we want to hear to get what they want - unwavering support for their aims.

Hey, brother. Just spitballing here but I think the D ldrshp devotion to unquestioning Israeli support is driven by 2 things basically-1) Religion and 2) a failure to realize that Israel is not the ally they were decades ago. There are probably others but I think those are the main factors.

Are you serious? Agree that there must be changes, indeed large ones, but even that would be, IMO, very difficult to pull off, much less a complete rewrite.
