No matter how much the government, major parties, or tabloid press push “Brexit benefits…”
People know Brexit doesn’t.
Brexit leaves the UK in a structurally weaker position, bleeding money, time, efficiency and opportunity daily.
And yet in every poll they are unwilling to make any compromise that rejoining would require.
It seems exceptionalism is alive and well!
I want to rejoin as soon as possible, but unless people engage with the likely consequences (Euro, no rebate, Schengen, etc.) it won’t happen.
