I agree with you that people should have voted, and it's everyone's duty, but since we do not force ppl to vote, it's the job of the politician to get people to choose them. They did not. Their choice now is to keep doing the same thing or change tactics. That's the truth, whether it's fair or not.

From the other side, it's the party saying: "We can ignore your issues, carry on as always, & enrich ourselves because you have no other choice. Tough shit." No one responds well to that, and the reality is, they lost. They can whine about it & lose again or learn & adjust.

I think withholding their votes was a terrible idea, but if voters are asking for something like universal healthcare bc they are unable to afford treatments, why shouldn't the party adopt a policy to address it instead of slight adjustments for some people? Shouldn't they be earning ppl's votes?

Is it really ridiculous to ask them to support bolder policies that make a bigger difference? The reality is that ppl keep asking them to fight & make society more fair instead of just returning to what was. Don't they, as our representatives, have a responsibility to do more than not be evil?

I think people in general are fed up with being screwed over all the time and seeing no changes. I voted for Harris, donated to her, & convinced others to do the same, but people are tired of being asked to vote for a return to a broken system. I think ppl should have seen the bigger picture but..

trump is creating the government he claimed the dems built: one where nothing can be trusted and basic reality can be denied. We keep inching our way further into a dictatorship led by a bumbling moron and there's no sign of change. 😞
yeah, so, this is alarming beyond words. if Trump compromises the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the integrity of the government data that the global economy relies upon at all levels goes right into the dumpster

I don't know whether to cry or scream at any given moment. So much cruelty being celebrated in this country.
