  1. At a time when equity programs and federal agencies are being dismantled under the guise of fairness and neutrality, small business owners like Tiara Bennett remind us that the structural changes needed to advance an inclusive economy are worth the fight.

  2. Nonprofits are being defunded and targeted for speaking up and fighting back against injustices.

This #NationalNonProfitDay, remember that supporting nonprofits allows them to support us. And at a time when our rights are on the line, their work is more critical than ever.

  4. FYI 🚨 A federal court in Maryland blocked Trump’s attempts to remove diversity, equity, and inclusion in America’s schools and universities.

This is a step toward reaffirming that “DEI” is more than an acronym: it's how students get access to the equal opportunities they deserve.

  5. Black people have faced lengthy and unfair prison sentences for too long. It’s time to secure justice and relieve victims of extreme sentences.

We filed an amicus brief with Cooley, LLP & NAACP urging the court to address these disparities and provide resentencing to all those affected.

  6. BIG WIN for voting rights amid redistricting battles: A federal court ruled Louisiana must redraw its state legislative map. The current one violates Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act by weakening Black voting power.

The state must now create a fair map that gives Black voters real representation.
