This is mildly off-topic but I’ve always found it a little wild that the executive appoints judges. They are not supposed to be partisan yet they are referred to in terms of which president appointed them. How is this a separation of powers?
They really shouldn't be allowed to. It would be better if federal judges are picked by the states.
