  1. "Although some tension between the coordinate branches of government is a hallmark of our constitutional system, this concerted effort by the Executive to smear and impugn individual judges who rule against it is both unprecedented and unfortunate." Wow. From a Trump appointee.

  2. This is what happens when we don’t stand up for each other, like not standing up for women’s rights, minority rights, immigrant rights, veterans rights, disabled/elderly rights, LGBTQ; so now whose gonna stand up for everyday citizens when the armed forces come for you

  3. #cnbc. How is it that brilliant people like Sara Eisen and Jim Cramer do not see the Lisa Cook issue as possibly selective and/or politically motivated? Blinders on? 😎🇺🇸🕊️

  4. Appears most still believe in the Constitution, make decisions based on the principle "without fear or favor" and execute their duties as inscribed on the US Supreme Court Building "Equal Justice Under the Law."

  6. I would LOVE to see someone tally up the egregious $$$ this administration has incurred on frivolous lawsuits. They act like they have unlimited funds--because WE are paying, not them. They will keep using our tax dollars on this abuse until someone holds them PERSONALLY accountable for the costs!

  7. I really appreciate and admire the forcefulness and clarity he uses to admonish the administration and defend the integrity of his colleagues.

  8. Most judges didn’t work like dogs their whole careers because they wanted to be partisan hacks. They would have been politicians instead. SCOTUS is really the outlier in the this regard.

  9. Why the scare quotes around “dismisses”? Did he, or did he not dismiss the case? If he did, the quote marks should not be there. If he did not, the quote marks need to be replaced with the words “does not”, or similar words. In either case, the quote marks need to be deleted.

  10. This is mildly off-topic but I’ve always found it a little wild that the executive appoints judges. They are not supposed to be partisan yet they are referred to in terms of which president appointed them. How is this a separation of powers?

  11. I hold on to the dream that one day (after the trials), we‘ll be dedicating statues of these judges.

Message to John Roberts: don’t even try.

  12. “Unfortunate” sounds like something that just happened, which is not remotely accurate. The examples cited earlier in the footnote look like a strategy to me.
