Sen. Bob Menendez and his wife WERE indicted on bribery and corruption charges — proving that high-ranking officials can be held accountable. By that standard, Justice Clarence Thomas and his wife, Ginni, could have — and SHOULD HAVE — faced similar consequences for their own ethical violations.
