It's clear from the full memo that Third Way has completely bought in to far-right myth that Democratic overreach is what's causing Republican radicalization.

Back when I was gestating I greatly preferred being referred to as a "pregnant person" over the nauseating "little Mommy" that some health care workers called me when they didn't want to read my name off the chart. It's reassuring to know they were still viewing me as a PERSON, not an incubator.
