Minneapolis renter. Plural/non-binary adult (they/them pronouns) on the autistic spectrum that seeks to learn and improve each day. Wants more accessible spaces without requiring a car.

  1. “Safety strategies aren’t that hard: Slow drivers down, and separate vulnerable road users and drivers by time and space.

What makes actually implementing these strategies so challenging is our unwillingness to decrease motorist throughput or inconvenience drivers in the name of saving lives.”

  2. Home from the #mnstatefair (and also an impromptu errand a little out of the way). Been on the bike for 2 hours total, and probably going to chill for the rest of the night. Thoughts on the fair: better to go with someone else than solo. Most food portions are too big for one. Plus, not as lonely.

  3. There really needs to be the kind of campaigning between Jazz & DeWayne, Jazz & Fateh, DeWayne & Fateh, All three of them. A joint effort that shows how a change is needed. #DontRankFrey

I had two old W13 friends over for dinner a few weeks ago. They love Jazz and seemed surprised that I wasn’t ranking Frey. I think too many W13 “moderates” will rank Jazz first and Frey second, thereby electing Frey, but feeling good that they voted for a Black candidate. 🥵

  4. May have used more cell data than I realized at the #mnstatefair. Still taking some pictures but likely to not post as much until home, or at least away from the area. Cannot just stay in WiFi hot spots all day after all. Here for another hour or two most likely, considering 2nd lunch (1st was meh).

  5. Why is some sort of super mileage car being showcased with the agriculture section? Is a one seater even worth it for most folks? And if one is, couldn’t it be made slightly smaller, similar to Netherlands’s accessible vehicles? #mnstatefair

A strange prototype/concept car for a super mileage challenge. This only seats one.
