As a Canadian, I grieve for our southern neighbours, but I’ve also lost a lot of respect for your country as many of you chose this. We look forward to rebuilding this relationship one day - but that might be a long-ass road. It’s like watching a friend forgive a cheating partner over and over.

Because this is the way women are respected and treated and always have been. This isn’t new. Neither is the outrage. I’m exhausted and sad. For me, it’s hard knowing that society hates you and wants you to shut up and know your place. A feeling I know many of us share.
