I have a feeling "god" is a dog whistle for the right of a man to do anything to a woman or child. They may say they believe in God, but it isn't the God of the Bible. The Bible also warns against editing its content. So the Trump bible isn't valid, and neither are many other versions.

I am for world peace. We must find ways, every country, to get along with one another and solve our problems in other ways than bullying the weak. Society is interconnected and conflict with a single country can affect many others in unintended ways.

CEOs seem to be under the impression that people will not work unless they are desperate. This is empirically false. People always want more. It's not a destructive thing to pay people enough to be stable and to save.

No one is suggesting that companies shouldn't make profits. What people are upset about is profits being more important than quality of life. Few are asking for a mansion, but a person ideally should have one paid off house by the time they are 30.

Adding to this layer, the ghost may decide it's better for mortals to stay away from their haunt and scare people on purpose until they figure out their next steps. Their communication is limited and impacting physical objects takes a lot of energy, so they don't always do it.

Furthermore, they can react to death the way any mortal would do when hurt-with anger or sadness. There are instances of belligerent ghosts, of scenes that play over and over. A sort of echo of mental processing.

Most paranormal sightings encounter ghosts in dark, chilly places and never in direct sunlight. Sunlight may be the thing that binds a ghost to a structure and not the ghost's will. When a ghost affects something in a mortal environment, it looks like it is doing it on its own.

Well, my hypothesis about ghosts is that they run into trouble when they don't realize they're dead yet. Mortals eat and ghosts don't. So when a ghost tries to eat something, or come up to a mortal for help, the person gets terrified. Also, direct light may be uncomfortable for them.
