I think most of us could manage back to the 1920's, and perhaps adapt to things since the 1850's. Before that I think you'd quickly be killed by the regular people.

No, but every year my grandma used to recite "The Cremation of Sam Magee" to us. She was born in 1892 when people had to entertain each other, and she had a ton of great material. We kids loved it when Sam said "close the door!"
