My other favorite is a different council member who happened to also be a cop in a different city shot out the windows of the local pharmacy trying to hit a thief who was armed with a deadly wench. Didn't get the thief iirc but did spray several cars in the parking lot

The surrealness of Cuomo (or whoever runs his account) tweeting about DSA factions aside, the idea that DSA would collapse in 3 months over a bad politician is very funny. Mamdani could stroke out and become fetterman 2.0 and the worst thing that would happen would be a 500 page forum argument
It's obviously not true that DSA is crumbling under the weight of internal contradictions. NYC-DSA is almost entirely united behind Mamdani, national DSA also sees him as a major success (despite not technically endorsing him), and his victory has led to a huge increase in new DSA members.
