I'm totally baffled abt the markets. Where is Capital? Trump is messing w/ govt data; imposing tariffs; flirting w/ default; meddling in corporate management.
Where are the CEO complaints? The bond vigilantes? Where are billionaire hedge funders who trade on good data? Was Capital's power a mirage?

More convinced than ever Farage is vulnerable. Not on immigration but on cosying up to Trump, his economic illiteracy, the manifest failure of Brexit, the record of Reform in local government.
Just before the 2010 election, I heard an interview with a BNP guy by Stephen Nolan on 5Live. Nolan started the interview by saying he wouldn't be asking about immigration but the other BNP policies. BNP guy was floored and babbled nonsense for 10 minutes. The BBC should try the tactic with Farage.
