On further thought, as a person who was invested heavily in Apple products over the years, I am now wondering if I can continue to have even a modicum of trust in Apple’s assertion it will protect user privacy and not simply hand over sensitive information to Trump and his cohorts.

Asking republicans and business leaders to stand up against Trump is like asking mice to stand up against cheese. Several business leaders, even Tim Cook of Apple, attended a State dinner Trump held held for Mr Bonesaw. I doubt any of them are going to stand up. American citizens are on their own.
