Had a weird realization last night that it’s possible, for Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata third movement, that it came out of an exercise in chord inversions. I know he had improv duels, and I had a vision of that pattern coming from one of those. And him thinking, “gotta use that somewhere!”

I read this, gave it a like, and remembered on Tuesdays my library is open until 8. So I went and checked out two books and a DVD. And I asked about if they have sheet music and they informed me the main branch has some but there’s a way to have it sent to their location so I can pick it up there 👍🏽
