Become a poll worker on top of all of this - we can't let MAGA run your polling place and/or not have a polling place in your location because of a shortage.
I would also urge you to show up at your local city council, county commissioner, school board, etc. - get involved and run if you have to.
We also need people to call our state representatives and state senators - what happens local matters.
In addition to this, we need people to run for office by contesting every seat - no more leaving them uncontested.
Same is true when it comes to precinct chairs - it's time to fill them all.
Here's something you can do... write a letter to the editor if misinformation occurs, just like Sally did. This is something we should all do to fight back, if you still have a newspaper and/or the newspaper is online.

I’d like to address some recent flyers sent out making misleading claims about Newsom’s recent move to counter the GOP’s political gerrymandering.
Writing has long been regarded as AN ACT OF RESISTANCE in which writers have questioned & challenged those in power, injustice, homophobia, lynching, inequality, racism, religion, slavery, segregation, migration, police brutality, feminism, voter suppression, etc.

I’d like to address some recent flyers sent out making misleading claims about Newsom’s recent move to counter the GOP’s political gerrymandering.
The scary part is this - he's next in line after the president. So if something happens to Donald Trump, then we have JD Vance to deal with. And he could be worse, or he might be bad like Trump.
It's certainly way better than leaving the seat uncontested... we have to try, even if there's really little to no shot of winning the seat - it gives voters a choice and local Dems involved in the race.
That's the thing... as long as she got to 10% or above, that will be a win, even if we didn't win the seat (which was expected). It's a deep red district, and at least giving the voters a choice makes a difference.
Contesting every seat can also make the difference as far as close races up top.
If we can convince enough people who voted for Trump and the GOP that are affected by these ACA subsidies to vote blue up and down the ballot (as well as register new voters), Florida could become a great state again.
But we've got to convince people to run for office and become a precinct chair.
If they had actually done something, they should have done it before the vote was taken and then it could have been saved. To beg them to do something now is in my opinion, too little, too late.
What they should do is try to convince those that are affected by it to start voting for the Dems.
