Agree and this is giving me so much anxiety about the implications - I worry so much for our most vulnerable populations

We need to keep fostering scientific excellence even when it feels hopeless. Since I am the scientist in the family, all the grandkids pivot to me for validation when they say one of their favorite subjects is science. While we may be discouraged, we can’t let the lights be extinguished. #MedSky

Always love a glimmer of hope is our current scientific hellscape. My oldest grandson got a « thinker » award yesterday for: « The reason given for this is: Great work designing your experiment today. I was impressed by your creative thinking. »

Yes, please explain to those of us working in public health how he is allowed to completely dismantle our public health infrastructure. I suggested during a meeting today that instead of starting our meeting with a moment of silence (we don’t) we should all take 30sec to let out primordial screams.

Only thing I notice is that I have a hard time trying to decide whether all his anti-science rhetoric is a result of the brain eating worm, drug use, inability to pass a biology class, or fundamentally being a horrible human being.
