  1. I believe this is the theater where, in 2003, some stoned classmates and I decided to ask the box office, one by one, for tickets to “A Mighty WIND” (pronounced as in “wind a watch”) with straight faces. We got absolutely no reaction.

    The last surviving movie theater in all of New Haven, which closed two years ago, is now available for lease. As much as I hope some enterprising theater operator takes it on, I imagine it will be turned into storefronts or apartments. Support your local theaters, before you don’t have them.
