Most white people in this country descend from immigrants who came here between 1870 and 1920. So the appeal Schmitt is making us not onky racist, it's off the mark in terms of demographic and historical accuracy.

A shrewd strategy would be to target the middle men--undersecretaries, field commanders, etc. Less likely to be pardoned. Also everyone can face state criminal charges and civil lawsuits. 3 to 5 years of continuous stress and financial strain.

MPD had 15,000 arrests in 2023. That's about 41 per day. With triple the LEO numbers these guys arrested about 27 per day. That's pathetic.

Sure. After 48 hours the city will file a legal challenge and get an injunction. That process will wind up at the shadow docket, but will likely be moot since he'll have sent the Guard home and stood down the "security theater".
