AI to generate music to pad Spotify playlists with Spotify AI generated artists to reduce the plays for legitimate independent artists is a much more insidious ploy. Especially given these artists pay to have their tunes listed in Spotify. #supportartists #useBandcamp

One of the things I’ve realized in years (somehow, years?) of listening to folks talk about their work, is that the thing people don’t realize is how much time it takes — not just in workflow, but in all the hours (accrued over months, years, decades) that it took to hone & refine those skills. And:
I got to my current level of sound design in under 2 years by doing it for over 40 hours a week. Over, and over, and over. Your art is worth taking time for.
