Congratulations everyone. Now you have to do everything for yourself. Mow your own lawn, clean your own house, take care of your own parents. But wait, there's more. You can also get a low paying job at the same time doing those same things. It'll be great when they institute the 14-day work week.

No one was complaining that they weren’t able to get a job picking tomatoes. Nobody was yelling at their representative because they weren’t allowed to work repairing a roof in 100° heat.

I can’t wait til the farmers have to deal with sick and mentally ill people who will not be able to do the 1/4 of the work a healthy immigrant could. Not to mention the rampant drug addiction ( sadly very high among homeless populations) . By the next election they will begging for immigrants.

The irony is that AI replacing management is more realistic. Managers are input/output jobs - they get data on the work being done and make decisions.
AI won’t be able to replace skilled work. It will hurt entry level skilled workers though.

I agree, managers who have lost touch with what their people do will try to replace them with AI but will realize it won't work pretty quickly
