Woken up by the dog trying to get into my bed b/c the flashes of lightning coming through the blinds in my otherwise pitch black room scared him. Built him a fort + he was still scared so I moved to the couch where he can feel safe curled up next to me and not see any lightning flashes 🥺

Do you have global entry? If you only need the ID to buy drinks and stuff, your passport info is saved in your GOES account, since it's a secure gov website maybe they'll accept it

Same. Being closer to the border helps but for the prices being quoted you could still easily get everything done for way less and the care is great. They'll even work with you on scheduling if they know you're traveling a bit further and can't just go down there frequently due to distance.
