Remember how the Democrats proposed a $15 minimum wage and even had bipartisan support to increase it above $10. But that darn Joe Manchin...or was it Sienma...or maybe the parlimentarian? I keep forgetting to keep track of their excuses.

Obama ditched the public option because of Joe Liberman. But you're correct there always is an excuse why they can't pass stuff that helps. They would also rather court the right instead of progressives.

No, Democrats are the reason Democrats lose. Newsom is great if you ignore the fact that he is horrible on transright, Horrible for the homeless, has hard right wingers on his podcast and doesn't push back on them at all. What he is doing now is because a camera is on him.
