I'm seeing fewer posts about the Visa and Mastercard situation, and I want to make it plain as day. You need to keep calling and bothering them and losing them money.
Because if we lose this, they are going to cut more and more from what's available until you can only buy what they approve of.

Spoke with an anon source who had an interesting insight into Visa policy. Per a convo with their bank on the Steam/itchio situation today, Visa put new restrictions into place due to a new "government policy." The exact phrase used by Visa. No specific country was listed as the source of the policy

nooo! 😭 i don't have that with my ocs but i get it with other aspects. just get stuck because it feels so important. then oops it's 3 years later. i know some people cope by drawing on cheap, shitty paper with maybe a shitty pen you can't erase + other limitations. forces you to deal.

now if it's insecurity keeping you from drawing ocs you wanna draw, i'd say that's when you throw a little fit, mope for a bit, and then maybe do it anyways even if you end up just hiding them in a folder afterwards. maybe you'll look at them again later and love them (or quietly delete them).
