The entire mood for the past few months has been like one of those old cartoon bits where a baby wanders onto a construction site and dodges a bunch of falling nails and wanders from crane to crane miraculously unscathed.
Like, by all accounts that baby should be dead.
It’s a miracle that someone hasn’t been shot when the regime’s strategy has been ‘do everything we can to up the odds of someone getting shot’.

It reminds me of Mike Duncan’s Revolutions podcast where a common inflection point is ‘troops get called out to quell unrest ~> someone gets shot’ and then everything changes.
