Centrists and corporate representatives aren't interested in helping everyone in society. They want to maintain the exploitation and low wages. The status quo works just fine for them. They're the first to say we can't afford it without even running some numbers.

It took decades for Fox to poison the atmosphere with lies. Something has to refute the lies and since the church has an outsized influence in rural areas, they've been complicit in the lies and propaganda. They need to speak out about loving your neighbors instead of evil rightwing propaganda.

I wish the Democratic Party didn't treat blue residents of redneck states like we're some lost tribe in the Amazon. Rural people can be reached but you have to try. Looks like there won't be a message until a media outlet decides to tell the truth aggressively and take on rightwing propaganda.
