Right. But if Jona got a green card wouldn’t that make 4? Or was his already accounted for?

Wouldn’t that put them at 4 international slots? They traded for one from Miami a couple of weeks ago.
Since they never registered Araujo maybe his slot was already being used?
In any event, all signs point to another incoming player!
-
Did they need that slot for Carballo? I would think not since Jona’s should be available
Credit to Ned if they can flip Moreno for another U22 before the window closes

There’s a big difference between a random club in the Chilean or Colombian First Division & a recent Copa Libertadores winner and CWC semi-finalist
And MLS clubs are selling to Liga MX & South American clubs all the time
-
It’s a business & Santi is far from the first player to do this sort of thing. Heck, I remember when Adi no-showed for a Seattle game b/c he wanted a move to a LigaMX club. And Vancouver had a player a few years ago who went & signed for another team even though he was still under contract
-
And then, of course, there’s the obvious relevance of those topics to our current moment…
Anyways, no harm done. Cheers!

No worries. As you say, it’s one of the hazards of social media.
FWIW, I got turned on to early modern history via the social history of Ren. Florence & the Annales School in general. Any time I teach EM legal history at least one student writes on sumptuary laws. So I dialed the snark up to 11
