    But regardless of what world governments do, individual people and communities can still mobilize economic power.

    Canada needs to ditch the F-35 program too. Like, yesterday.

    It's patently absurd to consider buying military equipment from a hostile nation that has threatened our sovereignty, and especially absurd when that hostile nation has the ability to remotely deactivate said equipment.

    Could Canada put together some sort of official program to expedite work and residency permits for U.S. scientists who are willing to continue their vaccine research for the public healthcare sector?

    I would like to see a coordinated effort between Dem officials in the U.S. and their counterparts here in Canada to provide asylum for American scientists, and funding to continue their vaccine research, in exchange for making their findings and patents publically available in both countries.

    At the grocery store, toilet paper brands have all started adding "Made in Canada 🇨🇦" labels to their packaging, because right now Canadians won't even wipe our butts with U.S. products.

    I'm starting to more deeply appreciate the "Rope-a-Dope" strategy that the PM is deploying in the ongoing trade war.

    Our outcomes will be better if we basically ignore the U.S. as much as possible, don't take any of Trumps bait, and focus our efforts on economic diversification to non-U.S. markets.
