  1. For the first time, I’m wondering if I should accept updates. A little shiver when I saw that notification.

  2. Boycott Apple? Google and Samsung suck, too, but this is a very direct, very pathetic capitulation to fascism. Sad, really. Boycotting isn't about getting a different phone. It’s about the choice you make at point of purchase. Do I want the fascists to have my $1600? Boycott guide pinned to my feed.

  3. I’ve been an Apple customer since the first iPod came out. And Google is on Android. I don’t know what Samsung’s policy is on fascists. šŸ˜‘ What are we supposed to buy? The secure phone similar to the Apple 16 ProMax is made in Israel. Jesus H Christ we’re running out of options.

  4. Surprised that he didn't get down on one knee in front of the First Felon. Proving again, that for billionaires, it's all about the money. In this new Fascist world of ours, people come after the money and the power. Sadly, we are all responsible for allowing this to happen.

  5. Oh sure...import components, tax-free, from selected countries, assemble them here and then call it made in USA. And of course raise the end-user price 25%. Reeks of political fair trade.

  6. Anyone who owns apple products must be ashamed after Tim Apple was in the White House sucking Trumps mushroom. Another quisling.

  7. No it should say ā€˜Think playing Trump’ not one corporation that has made these ridiculous investment claims is actually gone through with the investment they all do this to make Trump happy and it gets them off the hook.

  8. Scores of Apple products purchased since 1985, many thousands of dollars spent, big booster thereof, but already done with them after their acquiescence on the Gulf in Apple Maps a few months ago.

  9. Orrrrrr, are corporations pacifying him? It’s not like any of this is going to happen overnight. Will be interesting to see how much corporations cooperate at yearly intervals. Same with the Tariff’s. Can’t wait to see how much revenue they bring in! Oh wait, they’re already lying on those numbers!

  10. Apple was facing a billion dollars in tariffs (costs) and instead made a deal that eliminated the cost and transformed it into an investment. It would appear to me to be a great business decision.

  11. Stockholders before country and customers. Got it. And it won't stop here: Kissing the ring is only the first step and won't satisfy Epstein's pal.

  12. Oh, Tim Apple steering the ship, eh? Well, maybe it's time we Canadian critters paddle our own canoe away from those big human waves! Independence for paws and claws—no more Dominant Power steering our path!

  13. I guess those business ethics class Cook took in business school during the 1980’s didn’t stick.*

ā€œIf the student hasn’t learned the teacher hasn’t taught.ā€ Old saying

    • this is a jab at most business schools because it wasn’t until later that they started actually teaching ethics course courses

  15. He wasn’t watching while Tesla sales tanked globally after Musk’s stupidity.

Apple is over priced if it can give away golden phones.

This will be my last iPhone.

  16. Yeah, we’re mad! He should just go ahead and tank Apple entirely. Poof! Gone! There, that’s better. Y’all feel better now? Good.

  17. I remember driving around L.A. in the mid 90s, land of the billboards, and seeing various billboards with the whole "Think different" slogan all over the city. Was inspiring.

    This, not inspiring.

  19. Only Apple product I ever owned was the o.g. iPod, and that was a gift.

Their stuff has always been too pricey and lacks the control that Windows/Linux PCs and Android phones have.

  20. If Tim Apple cant support democracy then we don’t need to support Apple. Tech companies are a dime a dozen now.

  21. Apple is now a Russian asset like Krasnov. I’ve bought my last Apple product.

  22. There's no bite out of that Apple logo. That missing portion willingly detached itself and placed itself in Trump's mouth, with tears in its eyes, saying, "Thank you sir, for this privilege."

  23. I worked for both Steve and Tim. Steve is rolling in his grave at this. He’d of hated Trump. It’s all so pathetic.

  32. I have been a Windows guy for over 25 years, and started using iPhone in the late 2010’s. It’s nice to have around, but the desktop is definitely the way to go. I can do way more compared to seeing on any mobile app for that matter.

  33. Tim’s job is to create and protect profits for the stock holders of Apple. He’s paid really well for that. I wish he had the fortitude to speak truth to power and take the consequences… but alas. Boardrooms across America have capitulated.
