Just realizing Ken Dryden was probably sick when he recorded that message to Lane Hutson for winning the Calder a couple of months back. What a classy guy, man. He understood how important small gestures like that are for all of us, not just Lane.

I've shown this before. When I met Ken Dryden with my son, Nov. 2019. He stood beside me as we spoke briefly, and it was like talking to a giant. Yes he was 6'4, and I'm only 5'10, but it was more than that. I felt like an 8 year old meeting his hero. I felt like I was looking straight up at him.
My son woke me up to tell me the news. This makes me so unbelievably sad.
Considering Ken Dryden was an MP on top of everything else, I think flags should be lowered.
