NOW: Judge Xinis is presiding over a writ petition filed by Mr. Abrego. She's proposing the government respond by Wednesday, and a hearing Friday at 11 AM. She says extending a TRO is necessary because there appears to be a violation of the law. 1/

  1. Oh it's more than an appearance it's a blatant violation of the law and she needs to give Mr abrego protection from the department of Justice and ice

  2. Is there any universe where this doesn't end with 6 members of the Supreme Court ruling, "Donald Trump can do whatever the fuck he wants with this guy."?

  3. Do you think the government is trying to deport Abrego to another country to prevent a civil case suit against the DOJ?

I ask because I'm not fully knowledgeable in this area and am not sure if that is a viable tactic.

    Thanks.

  5. ICE will have him on the other side of the world before then.

"Yeah, we flew him out. Watcha gonna do? We work for Donald Trump."

  6. Judge Xinis says there's been no offer of protection from Uganda akin to what Costa Rica has promised. The government can right the ship by showing some representation from Uganda that his freedom will not be curtailed, or that he will not be tortured or sent to El Salvador. 2/

  7. My gosh, it doesn't "appear" to be a violation of the law. It "is" a violation of the law. It's a slap to the face to her orders. I'm so frustrated with our judicial system. They should stop sugar coating the violations this regime is doing and start throwing this criminals lawyers in jail.

  8. One day, just like the nazis did, all of these people will stand up and say "I was just following orders, even though I did not agree with them."

  9. If they do move him, I hope the judge issues a bench warrant for the arrest of the officers involved and the staff who signed off on the transfer.

  10. Just think if the government had just quickly fixed their error and returned him with an apology, how much time and money have they pissed away because of their egos?

  11. Dollars to donuts that the government violates the TRO. Who's to stop them? They are lawless.

  14. I wonder if Judge Xinis can have Mr Abrego remanded to her custody to keep him safe?

  15. Why didn't anyone try to protect him? If Shitler is breaking the law numerous times to try and abduct and traffic him, why couldn't anyone else "break" the law to protect him?

Did they think Shitler is finally gonna listen to the law now? Does anyone really think they'll wait to traffic him?

Geee, ya think...I mean, she thinks...does anyone know how many times the GOLDEN CALF and his "doj" have ignored court orders or lied in the courts...

  18. 🙏 Will a reporter ask Trump why they brought here in their Venezuela prisoner swap a literal cold blooded triple murderer, and freed him, while trying to get rid of Abrego??

  19. Bondi et al playing games with our judicial process…….they are not trustworthy brokers

  20. I’m so worried about him. Does the Trump administration understand they’re making a martyr of him, and what a grave misstep that would be?

  21. Absolutely forbidden means nothing to this regime. They spit in the courts faces repeatedly. I hope like hell the tables are turned on them soon.

  22. quote~"Xinis says she will order government to NOT remove him to a place where he wont have access to counsel"

This is America??? Where you have to order the government to protect someone's rights??? OMG... how far we have fallen; how much we have lost!

They will do whatever they want, and then claim that the judge does not have the authority. Then they'll run it through months long court battles, hoping to get it to SC gang of 6 to say, "Yeah, sure. Whatever you want" in convoluted legalese. And if they lose, they'll just revert to "Too late!"

  24. If Trump's "government" manages to successfully turn "carpooling to work" into "human trafficking", ALL Americans could be subjected to ICE deportation.

  25. Imagine how terrifying this all must be for poor Mr. Abrego. I wish with all my heart that he could sue these toilet pigs for billions of dollars. I'd for sure vote in his favor on a jury.

  26. It’s amazing Drew Ensign hasn’t yet been found in contempt or sanctioned. If I were the judge, I’d ask him to remember to bring his toothbrush to court from now on.

  27. I wonder how many federal man-hours and US taxpayer dollars have been spent on this cruel, BS prosecution. Smdh.

  28. “Mr Abrego's deportation to Uganda is punishment for exercising his constitutional rights” … That’s infuriating! 😡

    2
  29. I really hope they implanted a tracker on Mr. Abrego. This corrupt administration will do all possible to disappear him.

  30. “Appears to be a violation of the law“ is basically just boiler plate when dealing with the American government these days

  31. By Wednesday???

Haven't we already seen this scenario before?

DHS will NOEM Mr. Abrego away to some other state & then offhsore .. on Tues

Trump DOJ- Your Honor, we are sorry to say that Mr. Abrego is no longer in the US- he apparently opted to self-deport.

  32. If there is a violation of the law, then charge the violators and put them in jail. This isn’t the first time they have violated the law in respect to Mr. Abrego.

    0
  33. When is any judge going to jail a government official for continually defying their orders? This is ridiculous. Find a reason to hold Bondi and her ilk in contempt.

    0
  34. How about instead of “proposing” a deadline, she tells them to respond immediate, and set Abrego free? And can they just stop with the fucking “likely” and “appears to be a violation of the law” bullshit. You wonder why you’re at where you’re at? It’s nonsense like this.

  35. This administration cannot be trusted to obey the rule of law. The attorneys representing the government should be subject to confinement if the government violates the TRO.

    3
  36. At least let him go to Costa Rica and seek asylum from the new US military dictatorship. At this point he must surely want to leave, just not to Uganda and not in chains.

    1
  37. Its all the more cruel to dangle him in front of his family. Im sure they were just waiting. This man is being made an example of.

  38. (Should be) Judge Xinis to the DOJ attorney: I want a list of every person in the DOJ chain of command from you through AG Bondi by EOD. Do you know why I want this list? DOJ: No, Judge. Judge Xinis: Because I will hold each & every person on that list in contempt if my order is not followed.

  39. Does anyone not understand the re-detention of Mr. Abrego and the threat to deport him to Uganda is one more attempt on Trump's part to incite a violent protest/revolt by citizens so he can turn the troops on U.S. citizens without restraint and officially become dictator.

  40. It so sad to see this man going through this, they are pissed and need to deport him or they look like worse idiots than they actually are, I hope they lose and he’s granted citizenship and sues the MF

    1
  41. It’s hard to believe (or it should be) that the AGs office (or similar) is putting resource into coming up with ways to torture this poor man and his family. People actually sit in a room working on this; brainstorming ways to circumvent the law. It’s just a game to them. This is someone’s life!

  42. “Appears to be”. A modern day lynching of an innocent man. I think that qualifies as breaking the law although one never knows these days.

  43. Isn't it STRANGE that the government can flaunt the laws of the United States without consequence? Why? This is NOT a Democracy, that is why! You goofed around too long, and Democracy is dead.

  44. Appears to be lol 😂 JFC All of them this whole thing for 10 years is a violation of the law

  45. Good on Mr. Abrego's counsel and Judge Xinis for making sure they tried to cover all the loopholes the Trump administration might try to slip through.

I'm about surprised they didn't ask for 24/7, uninterrupted, unobstructed video camera to make sure he didn't get Epsteined.

  46. You have to love how during his press conference today Trump called Garcia a wife beater when there is a public record of Trump raping his wife Ivana. It’s in their divorce documents and it’s ugly. He’s so pathetically disgusting and full of hate and hypocrisy.

  47. I just watched the documentary The Invisible Doctrine based on a book by George Monbiot. If you want to really know what is going on and how it needs to be changed, I believe this is a great place to start. What is capitilism and Neo-liberalism and why are they killing us and enriching the few.

  48. Sue Pam Bondi personally for harassment, abuse, and kidnapping. 8647 doesn't care. He will throw her to the wolves to save himself. Look at how he did Guiliani and others.
