This part is true - not matter what language is used right wingers will find a way to be upset about it. But there is something to be said for using plain language rather than academic language. You have to remember that the vast majority of Americans are dumb, and new words confuse them.
The other thing is that it is impossible to sanitize your own official language to satisfy right wingers, because their goal is to be upset by language. So they will just dig up an old Tumblr or fabricate something to get upset about

Exactly. A central component of present-day American Christianity is a backlash to the kindness, tolerance, and pluralism taught by Mr. Rogers and Sesame Street. Nothing worse than helping a stranger in need or having Black neighbors who you treat as people.
I’ve seen some folks refer to James Dobson as some coincidental “evil twin” to Fred Rogers, and I would like to clear the record: Dobson was an intentional fundamentalist reaction to Mr. Rogers and his liberal Christian influence on children. It wasn’t an eerie coincidence it was violent rejection

I say this extremely seriously: one of the main skills children have to learn to be adults is to do things they don't find interesting. This is both because many necessary things in life are boring and because sometimes interesting things take time and effort first.

I’d almost argue it’s a detriment. The biggest prerequisite to becoming a billionaire is being born rich. The second is having a high level of risk tolerance. Intelligence ain’t got nothing to do with it.
