    We have to talk about this also as an insult to the National Guard, who are being used as political props by the President and governors. They signed up to serve their country and their communities, and are now being turned into playthings of a political operation. It’s a slap in the face.

    Gallup reports that Trump is at a net -22%(!) approval rating on immigration (38% approve, 60% disapprove).

    That is the second lowest rating they've ever recorded for him, just behind -23% in August 2018 (38% approve, 61% disapprove).

    Trump has actually been remarkably successful in implementing his agenda and at the six month mark he's hit a low point in Gallup approval ratings. That's because the agenda is fundamentally unpopular! Something we tried desperately hard to communicate in 2024.
